27 September 2026 - Goalball Australia Announced the Australian Youth Men's & Women's Teams

Goalball Australia has announced the squads for the national youth goalball teams (men and women). The Australian men's and women's youth teams will compete in the Goalball World Youth Championships, which will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from November 27 to December 5, 2026.

A record number of youth teams have registered for the upcoming World Championship in Astana. No fewer than 17 men's teams will participate, comprising 6 teams from Europe, 3 from the Pan-American zone, and 7 from Asia-Oceania.

In the women's tournament, 12 teams will compete: 4 from Europe, 2 from the Pan-American zone, and 5 from Asia-Oceania.

A "Neutral" team is also participating in both the men's and women's tournaments.

Australian Youth Women’s Goalball Team

Athletes: Chanakan (Bo) Buakhao, Molly Smith, Monique Newman, Sora Wong, Thanh Tuoc-Autran

Coach: Andrew Perry

For both teams Jessica Lovett will be the assistant coach, Louise Carriage the Team Manager and Arron Devine the Physio.
