In 2026, world championship tournaments are on the schedule for many Paralympic sports. The world championships for several parasports are the first chance to qualify directly for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. In June, the WC Goalball 2026 took place in Hangzhou, China. 16 women's and 16 men's teams competed for the title, which was won by China in the men's competition by defeating Germany 7-1 in the final. "Playing Sitting Volleyball for the first time turned out to be more fun than expected." Last Sunday, Sitting Volleyball was introduced and played with great enjoyment and proved to be more challenging than everybody thought. Sitting volleyball is a sport faster than volleyball, and that was also a new experience for the participants. There was a lot of laughter, and the new experiences were positive.
