Every Tuesday evening, the Victoria Goalball team trains in the sports hall of Scotch College in Melbourne. At the moment, the main goal is preparing for participation in the national goalball tournament, which is being organized in Melbourne again for the first time in 5 years.

In this National Goalball Championships 2026 tournament, teams from Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Victoria will compete against each other from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Last Tuesday, Parasport Support was present and saw four players participate in the training. They tried to improve each other and become increasingly attuned to one another as a team. The training focused on the defensive position and throwing. Afterwards, the players were satisfied with the training provided by Dan and Rod Pritchard.

Every Saturday from 10.00 to 17.00 leading up to the National Goalball Championship, practice matches are played in the sports hall of Scotch College and every Tuesday from 18.00 to 20.00 there will be training sessions.
