The Australian men wheelchair basketball team will play the World Championship final in Ottawa-Canada. They defeated Germany 84–83 in a thrilling semi-final, after having also beaten Spain 70–66 in a tense quarter-final match.

They will face Italy in the final, after the Italians defeated Great Britain in the other semi-final match with 63-59.
